Education Qualification
- Candidates must have a Master’s Degree in Chemistry or equivalent fields from a recognized Indian university or institute.

- Applied Chemistry
- Industrial Chemistry
Minimum Marks Requirement
- Candidates who are general/OBC/EWS: Minimum 60% of the qualifying degree.
- SC/ST/PwBD Candidates: Minimum 55% marks.
Experience Required
Candidates must possess a cumulative experience of at least 2 years in any of the following areas:
- Testing/R&D/Quality control in Petroleum, Petrochemical, and Polymer Laboratories
- Experience in a NABL-accredited laboratory within the “Chemical discipline.”

Selection Process
There will be multiple stages in the selection process for IOCL Recruitment 2025
1. Computer-based test (CBT)
- Number of Questions: 135.
- Duration : 120 Minutes
- Subjects: General Aptitude + Discipline Knowledge
- Qualifying marks:
- General/OBC/EWS 40 of 100
- SC/ST/PwBD 35 of 100
is not a negative mark.
2. Group Discussion/Group Task
The candidates who are shortlisted will be invited to the GD/GT.
3. Personal Interview
The final candidates will be chosen based on the performance of their personal interview.
